Άντρας Σε Πλατφόρμα...Έργο Για Δύο Βαγόνια Και Φευγάτο White Balance
Στο Osterleyvich η αριστερή πινακίδα προσπαθεί να συγκρατήσει τους πιομένους απο το να πέσουν στις ράγες ενω η δεξιά πινακίδα προσπαθεί να συγκρατήσει τους αθώους απο το να πάρουν ένα μη αναγνωρισμένο taxi που μπορεί να τους βγεί βιαστής / κομμώτρια / δολοφόνος.Φέτος στο Λονδίνο έπαιρνες γεύση και απο Ανατολικό Μπλόκ, μόνο με 10 λίρες στη διαδρομή Heathrow - City, αυτό είναι Value For Money!. Μια αφιλοκερδής και (όχι και τόσο) ευγενική προσφορά των αθεράπευτα απρόβλεπτων καιρικών συστημάτων.
'Μπρός γκρεμός...-και πίσω;;; Πίσω δεν υπάρχει, έριξε ένα καινούριο χιόνι απόψε και το South West (όπου και Plymouth!) έγινε η πιο χιονόπληκτη περιοχή...Severe Weather Warning...Κάτσε εκεί που είσαι.
Να πάμε πλάγια τότε!!! Πλάγια δεν γίνεται. Θέλανε κι άλλοι να πάρουν το Eurostar, να βγούν Βρυξέλες ή Παρίσι και απο εκεί ίσως κάτι να βρισκόταν για Ελλάδα αλλά τα αεροδρόμια είναι κλειστά (και θα είναι και αύριο)...Χώρια που έχει μια ουρά έξω απο το σταθμό του St.Pancras (Eurostar) που είναι δεν είναι 2 χιλιόμετρα, ανθρώπων που περιμένουν να πάρουν κάποιο απο τα βαριά καθυστερημένα Eurostar...
Οπότε τι κάνουμε;;;; LONDON BABY!!!!! Πότε είπαμε είναι η επόμενη πτήση; Στις 25/12/2010...Α....Ε έχουμε καιρό τότε...Ε μα ναί τι λέμε τόση ώρα;.....Ε αμα είναι έτσι εντάξει!

imagine wanting to go to greece for a holiday and ending up at osterley!
i hate travelling during peak periods - as if the crowds aren enough, there's alos the weather that can ruin things

It did actually happen to us and these are all pictures from the experience itself, or rather, from those moments that i had any motivation left to shoot a picture with my camera :-D
We did not end up in Osterley. We ended up in Barkingside(!) (for 5 days, we stayed with friends, that was one of the good parts :-D )...Us and 37kg of luggage...BTW pulling a wheel suitcase through snow is totally inefficient, it piles the snow up and you end up dragging the suitcase leaving a totally incomprehensible trail mark behind you ("I wonder which animal left these trails" (!!!))...Little tips that this experience taught me :-D :-D :-D
What else could we do?
BTW, Heathrow was packed to the brim, if they told us, "Here, you want to fly don't you? Get a shovel and help with the clearing", the airport would have become operational in less than 30 minutes...

Yeah, things are certainly back to normal...February is giving us a rather cold treatment though :-(....It's been 2-3 straight cloudy weeks...Thick, gray, dull, wet, blunt, immense, diffusive, miserable, permanently temporary....The Cloud (!)
